I see that my old friends at the NHL have added more pieces to their dealings with Cisco.  The relationship covers a lot of areas, as you’ll see in a minute, and I know each party has the potential to get a lot out of it.  Bravo!  The two companies have had business dealings  for several years and this latest renewal is testament that the partnership is working well.  Of course, it didn’t start out being this multi-dimensional.  Maybe you’d like a little insight as to how it got going?  It might be instructive in your business dealings. Here’s Why Facebook Mail Might Fail

I’m sure you’ve all read about Facebook adding email to their social platform.  If you didn’t know that you can read Gizmodo’s report here and there are lots of others out there.  It’s being mentioned as a Gmail killer and as a threat to Yahoo mail (the world’s biggest provider).  It incorporates email, SMS, Facebook messaging and chat.  Given that Facebook has half a BILLION people using its platform, it’s not hard to think that way.

People Are Talking About You

We start the week with something that won’t tax our brains too badly.  Today it’s a report that confirms something I think we probably all know but of which it’s nice to have confirmation.  In a nutshell, we learn that people are the best brand ambassadors and that many folks tell their friends when they’ve had a great experience as well as when they’re unhappy.  While there may be a tendency to assume that only the negative stuff gets talked about, that’s just not the case.
