Farmers and winemakers have more in common than just planting things. They share a dependency on climate and as a businessperson I’m not sure I’d like to be so dependent on something so out of my control. Dripping The Business Away

Sometimes things that go wrong in a business are hard to find. Sometimes we don’t even know they’ve gone wrong. It’s easy to spot the employee that disrupts a vibe of a department or the salesperson who isn’t producing. Other problems are much more insidious and require a deeper dive by management. Art vs. Science
One of the hottest topics I find myself discussing with clients these days is Search Engine Optimization. the reason for this is that the biggest challenge today, unless your name is Google, Yahoo, or MSN, is for people to be able to FIND your content. Most trips to the web begin with a search of some sort so how your content bubbles up in natural search results (as opposed to paid ones) is important. But I’m left with a weird feeling about it.
