What if “New Coke” had been called something else and had become a brand extension rather than a point of comparison? Masters of War
I’m a big Bob Dylan fan (yes, another of the 25 things you don’t know about me). While he’s not always easy to appreciate, I don’t see how anyone can argue about his place in American music. In fact, I always use him as the acid test when people start discussing how “big” a particular artist is. The test is simple – my grandchildren’s children will still hear and be familiar with the songs of Bob Dylan as we are with the music of Bach or Irving Berlin.
