Will the stupid things companies do ever cease? Maybe when the companies themselves go out of business for being complete idiots, I guess. But in the interim, they sure provide a good amount of material for this space. I only found three examples over the weekend (I know – slacker) but since they’re all pretty egregious, I thought I’d share them.

Dark Star
I wrote a piece here in August about how hard it is for the home cook to duplicate the quality of the food in restaurants. At the time I ascribed that to the quality of the ingredients available to professionals vs. to what most of us have access. The Rules of the Road
How many near disasters have you had on the road lately? I’ve had a few although from chatting with friends it sounds as if not as many as some. But I’ve seen a few accidents of late as well as a dozen more near misses and I’m pretty sure I know why these things are occurring. It’s reflective of other things going on away from the road too.
