Daylight Savings

I don’t know about you, but this Daylight Savings time thing is brutal.  My timing is all off.  The dog, who has the most accurate and amazing internal clock I’ve ever seen, is confused and is demanding dinner an hour late.  I’m staying up too late so the problem I’m having with the change is compounded.  I mean it’s only an hour – like taking a business trip to Chicago, right?  Wrong. Teach One

I refuse to play the “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” game but I’ll give you one. That one is that I was trained as a teacher. I know – pretty clear career path from high school English to digital media guru.  Nevertheless, no matter what position I’ve held I’ve always felt that teaching was part of my job.  While some argue that the “See One, Do One, Teach One” philosophy is a ridiculous oversimplification in business, I don’t.  I think it’s an obligation. We’re All In This Together

You’re an artist and you play to make yourself happy.  Having spent some of my life as a performing musician, I know the joys of practicing (and that’s not sarcasm) to get better and do things you couldn’t before.  But I believe it would be hard to find any performer who didn’t think it was even better when you had an audience there to support you and show you some love for all that hard work.  You’re in it together.
