This week’s Foodie Fun Friday post is dedicated to all of you who won’t be using the bathroom for the next week. You know who you are. But the gentiles out there are wondering “what could he possibly mean? What could possibly stop someone up that badly?” Well, dear readers, Passover started Wednesday night and by now, most Jewish homes have had two Seders. I remember asking, somewhere along the line, what skills one needed to get into the sales department, where everyone seemed to be better paid and on an expense account (this was quite a while ago). The answer was something along the lines of “an unwavering belief that your <poop> doesn’t stink and that everyone loves you.” That came to mind over the weekend on the golf course and reminded me of one of the most important principles in success in both business and golf. I’m a big Bob Dylan fan (yes, another of the 25 things you don’t know about me). While he’s not always easy to appreciate, I don’t see how anyone can argue about his place in American music. In fact, I always use him as the acid test when people start discussing how “big” a particular artist is. The test is simple – my grandchildren’s children will still hear and be familiar with the songs of Bob Dylan as we are with the music of Bach or Irving Berlin.
