You can tell it’s Friday from the food headline, right? I was rummaging around the fridge last night and came across some stinky cheese (OK, a very fine Stilton) and some pate I had forgotten I purchased a few days ago. Those things might not appeal to you but to me they’re a loud alarm going off that’s screaming “find some wine and crackers,” which is what I did. The Ultimate Technology
Lots of folks in the tech space spend an awful lot of time on social media. They think about it, design new products to enable it, figure out business plans to market using it, plot ways to make money off of it – it’s a big deal! to a certain extent, I’m one of those folks, since a number of my clients are in the social space and even the ones that aren’t really invested in it want to know more. Worst Cooks In America
Finally Friday! That’s the good news – more snow is the bad. We, however, will focus on food as is our custom to end the week.
There’s a show on the Food Network called Worst Cooks in America. The premise of the program is that 2 professional chefs teach incompetent amateur cooks basic culinary skills and if the amateurs don’t learn they get tossed off the show. Not that I’m a pro, but the contestants they brought to the program seem to have trouble making toast or peanut butter sandwiches. The show is fun even if one wants to feel a bit better about one’s own meager skills but it turns out there was a business lesson as well. Continue reading
