Myopia

Imagine yourself driving down the highway at 65 miles per hour.  Now imagine doing so while looking only straight ahead through the windshield.  No rear-view mirror, no use of your side mirrors, your side windows blacked out.  Kind of scary and very dangerous, with a high likelihood that you won’t see something that could fatally disrupt your little drive.  “But I wouldn’t do that,” you say.  I know.  So why do people do it every day? Cost Isn’t Value

I read something this morning which I find to be disturbing. It’s a quote from Michael Roth, the Chairman of Interpublic. I’ll get to the quote in a second but the reason why I find it disturbing is that it reveals a fundamental flaw in the media world.
