I’ve been hearing an awful lot lately about how the recent election is going to bring in elected officials who are more “pro-business.” Most of the news reports mention some sort of lifting of consumer protections or deregulation. Now as you know we don’t do politics here but since the political stuff involves business, I’m considering it fair game, especially since it raises a big question in my mind as I listen to all the news reports. Ticks

This is the time of year when the ticks come out. For those of you who don’t live in the ‘burbs ticks are nasty little parasitic critters that transmit all kinds of sickness as they latch on to their host. The Mrs. and I spend a lot of time checking the dog and ourselves for ticks since we know lots of people, including our eldest daughter, who’ve had Lyme Disease, which is transmitted by ticks.
