I’m not sure what to make of a new report out the other day from Flurry, a firm that tracks applications running under iOS, the iPhone’s operating system. On the one hand, it reminded me of the power of aggregated numbers; on the other hand it contains a few comparisons I think might be sort of specious. The Big Screen
I’m sure you’ve noticed that many folks – maybe even you – spend a lot more time watching video and reading stuff on their computers than they used to. I know – I’m pretty observant. Some of what everyone seems to be watching is user-generated – weird YouTube videos of babies and dogs – some are the sort of thing you used to see more of on TV – music videos – and some actually is time-shifted TV – Hulu.

For The Love of Ivi
I know – what is he doing writing about some old movie. Well, first of all, the name was For Love of Ivy and my title is different. Second of all, I can hear those of you under 40 asking what the hell I’m talking about.
