When I was in college, I concentrated in American Literature as the focus of my English major.  One of my favorite authors was and is Henry David Thoreau.  I got to thinking about one of his quotes this morning and I think it’s one that is as meaningful as when Walden was written over 150 years ago (1854!). Change or Die

There is a study out this morning from the Newspaper Association of America that speaks to the growth of newspaper web sites.  The study, conducted by Nielsen, shows that just over 40% of Internet users (based on the numbers I’d say they mean US only) visited a newspaper web site in the third quarter, up almost 16% from the prior year.  To which I say – well DUH!
